You've Finished your AAS at CSN, and you've learned a lot.
If you'd like to keep building on those skills and complete a Bachelors degree, Nevada State College and the College of Southern Nevada are working on a terrific option for you: the BAS in Visual Media. We hope to begin this program in the fall of 2015. As with any new degree in the NSHE system, the approval process has several steps. However, if everything progresses smoothly, we should have all those approvals completed soon. If you would like more detail, here is a summary of how the degree works:
1. You complete your AAS in Photography - Videography and Film Emphasis from CSN. (60 credits)
2. You complete NSC core curriculum classes at CSN. (15 credits)
3. You apply to NSC for the BAS in Visual Media. Once you are accepted, Those 75 credits from CSN will be transferred towards your BAS in Visual Media.
4. The remaining 45 credits you will need to complete the degree are as follows:
